The Poem “Letters” is about a child who writes letters to his relatives and gets letters in return. The child often sits and write letters to his relatives. He shares his heart feeling in a letter and receives the love and care of his relatives.

He further says that his relatives smile at his letters and write letters in return. In the letters, they express their feeling and narrate the stories of what they do. They say that Pinkoo makes a shake for himself after waking up while Phunsokh bakes tasty cakes. Meena on the other hand reads books every time while playing badminton makes Shyma happy and cheerful.

The letter further reads that Elina’s sister chats with his friends on the phone and her parents say that she had grown up. The child also writes a letter in reply and writes about the comics he reads and about the speed of spiderman he watches in a movie.
