Who Am I Class 6 Summary in English
Radha
Radha likes climbing and it is her favourite activity. There is a mango tree just outside her house and she loves to climb up the tree. Her mother often advises her not to do so, but one day her mother too climbed up the tree and both of them sat on the tree, ate raw mangoes and enjoyed. When Radha climbs high up in the tree, she feels like she can rule the world.
Nasir
Nasir wants to become a seed collector. His family has cotton fields in their village. His father has to spend a lot of money every year to buy new seeds. His grandfather has told him that during their times they used to collect seeds and sow them to grow new plants next year. But these days it doesn’t work. Nasir wants to know why it is so. He wants to learn to preserve seeds to use them again and not spend money on this every year.
Rohit
Rohit likes travelling. He wishes if he had enough money he would travel around the world. He wants to see the mountains of New Zealand and sail on the Amazon river in South America. He also wants to visit the beaches of Lakshadweep and Konark temple in Orissa. His travelling wish list also includes an old city in Bejing in China and the Pyramids of Egypt. Rohit likes seeing nature more than old buildings.
Serbjit
Serbjit remains angry with most of the people around him when they don’t believe him when he speaks the truth. His teacher thinks he is telling lies when he says he could not complete his homework because Ravi had borrowed his notebook. His parents blame him for starting the fight which is started by his younger brother. He also feels angry when he tells the teacher that he had studied for the test though got fewer marks. The way all of them look at him makes him angry but he controls his anger.
Dolma
Dolma is a very ambitious girl. She wants to be the Prime Minister of India. People make fun of her when she says that she wants to be the Prime Minister but she is confident about her aim. She has leadership qualities. Everyone in her class seeks her help when they have a problem. Also, her teacher trusts her when something is to be done in the school. As Prime Minister, she would try to make things better for everyone.
Peter
Peter likes the second Sunday of every month. Because on this day his whole family goes for an outing. They go to the cinema. His father buys peanuts for his family during the interval and he loves eating peanuts while seeing a film. After the film, they eat ice cream. Everyone is in a good mood feeling lucky for being such a happy family.
