Animals Our Friends Class 3rd Summary in English
The students are on an educational trip to Dachigam National Park. First of all, they walk towards a fish farm which has a lot of fish. A trout fish named Dolly jumps out of the water. It lives with its friend Pinky and Daisy. All the children ran fast to meet Hangul and, in the process, Rohit hurts his foot. His friend carried him on back.
Hangul told the children that it doesn’t have many friends like Dolly and were about 5000 in number sixty years ago but now reduced few hundreds. It is kept in the park so that it can be protected. It is a herbivore and is 200-300 kg in weight.
After that children went to meet the Black Bear. I told children that it was living in the park for the past forty years and it eats fruits, nuts, honey, and roots. It also eats sheep, goats, and cattle. Bear is in Dachigam Park because it is an endangered species.
The children also saw a musk deer. It told children that the people of Kashmir call him Roosye Kaet. It is famous for the perfume that people use on their clothes. Musk deer told children that we should learn to forget and forgive. They also saw a leopard sleeping in the park.
