Introduction
The Mighty Rocky is a story of a proud ant named Rocky. He was very strong and hardworking and could do any task with ease. It made him arrogant and proud. He began to thought of himself as most powerful creature in the jungle but in end learnt a lesson for his pride. The story is based on the moral “Pride hath a fall”.

The Mighty Ant Summary in English
Once there was a big anthill in the dense forest. There were many hardworking ants in the anthill. One among these ants was named Rocky. He was very strong and hardworking. All the ants in nest praised him. It made him arrogant and proud. He began to thought of himself as most powerful creature in the forest.
One day Rocky decided to go on a journey across the forest. On his way, he met a big brown fox and ordered it to move out of the way or he will eat it up. The fox smiled at the foolishness of ant and walked away. After covering some distance, he met a grizzly bear and said to the bear to move out of his way or he will eat it up. The bear also surprised at the foolishness of ant and walked away.
Rocky continued his journey. After sometime, he saw a lion on his way. He said to the lion that he was Mighty Rocky and ordered it move out his way or else he will eat him up. The lion was amused to see the tiny ant threatening him but walked away smiling.
As all these animals ignore the Mighty Rocky, he began to think of himself as the king of the forest. Soon after he saw an elephant on the way and said same words to the elephant. The elephant also moved out of the ant’s way and finally Rocky crossed the forest and reached the sea.
He said to the sea to move out his way or he will eat it up but sea did not listen to him. It made Rocky angry and decided to teach sea the lesson by drinking all his water. As he bent down to drink the seawater, the big sea wave came and threw Rocky away into the sands and he fell on his back and was hurt. It became too late when he realized that pride has a fall.

Once there lived an ant named Rocky in an anthill. He was strong and hardworking. Everybody in the nest of ants praised him for his ability and strength. Due to this appreciation from he became proud of himself and started considering himself as the most powerful creature on the earth.

एक बार घने जंगल में एक बड़ा सा वल्मीक था। वल्मीक में कई मेहनती चींटियाँ थीं। इन्हीं चींटियों में से एक का नाम रॉकी था। वह बहुत मजबूत और मेहनती था। घोंसले की सभी चींटियाँ उसकी प्रशंसा करती थी। इसने उसे अभिमानी बना दिया। वह अपने को जंगल का सबसे शक्तिशाली प्राणी समझने लगा।
एक दिन रॉकी ने जंगल की यात्रा पर जाने का फैसला किया। रास्ते में, वह एक बड़ी भूरी लोमड़ी से मिला और उसे रास्ते से हटने का आदेश दिया अन्यथा वह उसे खा जाएगा। चींटी की मूर्खता पर लोमड़ी मुस्कुराई और चली गई। कुछ दूरी तय करने के बाद, वह एक भूरा भालू से मिला और भालू से कहा कि वह अपने रास्ते से हट जाए अन्यथा वह उसे खा जाएगा। चींटी की मूर्खता पर भालू को भी आश्चर्य हुआ और वह चला गया।
रॉकी ने अपनी यात्रा जारी रखी। कुछ देर बाद उसे रास्ते में एक शेर दिखाई दिया। उसने शेर से कहा कि वह माइटी रॉकी है और उसने आदेश दिया कि वह अपने रास्ते से हट जाए वरना वह उसे खा जाएगा। नन्ही चींटी को धमकाते देख शेर खुश हुआ लेकिन मुस्कुराता हुआ चला गया।
जैसे ही ये सभी जानवर माइटी रॉकी को नज़रंदाज़ करते हैं, वह खुद को जंगल का राजा समझने लगा। कुछ ही देर बाद उसने रास्ते में एक हाथी को देखा और हाथी से वही शब्द कहे। हाथी भी चींटी के रास्ते से हट गया और अंत में रॉकी जंगल को पार कर समुद्र में पहुंच गया।
उस ने समुद्र से कहा, कि वह अपना मार्ग चला जाये, नहीं तो वह उसे खा जाएगा, परन्तु समुद्र ने उसकी एक न सुनी। इसने रॉकी को क्रोधित कर दिया और उसने उसका सारा पानी पीकर समुद्र को सबक सिखाने का फैसला किया। जैसे ही वह समुद्र का पानी पीने के लिए नीचे झुका, समुद्र की बड़ी लहर आई और रॉकी को रेत में फेंक दिया और वह उसकी पीठ के बल गया और चोटिल हो गया। जब तक उसने महसूस किया कि अभिमान का सिर नीचा होता है तब तक बहुत देर हो चुकी थी।
Moral of Story The Mighty Ant
The story “The Mighty Ant” teaches us a lesson that pride always had a fall. In the lesson, we read that Mighty Rocky was proud of his strength and ability and finally got hurt and learnt a lesson. So, we should not be proud of our abilities or our possessions.
