Be Adventurous Class 4 Summary in English
Zeeshan was in Gogaldara staying with his friend Atif. Gogaldara is a beautiful place with tall plants of pine and deodar everywhere. The leaves of these plants are green and smooth. Zeeshan asked Atif why all the trees were so tall, Zeeshan replied that Gogaldara receives a lot of rain and snow also the soil is fertile so all the trees were tall.
Zeeshan also wanted to know if there were wild animals in the forests as there were many forests in Gogaldara. Atif replied that there were bears, tigers, monkeys, etc. in the forests. He told Zeeshan that he and some of his friends from the school going to camp near a forest the following week. He invited him to come with them. Zeeshan was excited about the camp.
The following week Zeeshan and Atif joined the camp. They went out together and explored the forests and lost their way at one time but soon got back on track. The boys were late to reach the camp. It was evening and they were walking along the Gogaldara Nalla.
Atif asked Zeeshan to walk fast as they were late to reach the camp. Zeeshan excitedly asked whether they will see any bear. Atif stopped suddenly and cautioned Zeeshan to listen. They heard a Thump thump thump sound. A big animal was coming towards them. Atif whispered that it was a bear. They walked quietly and hid in a big tree.
Atif whispered that bear was angry and told Atif that they should not let the bear hear them but he heard and smelled them too. He started growling loudly. The boys didn’t move. Atif was afraid but Zeeshan wasn’t. The bear came near the boys and was about 2-3 metres away from them and was shaking his head in anger. Atif whispered to Zeeshan that the bear was going to attack them and they have to protect themselves.
He pulled a bag brown out of his pocket. There were sweets in it. Atif dropped the sweets on the grass and blew air into the bag. Soon the bag was like a big balloon. He hit it hard with his hand making a loud noise. Hearing the sound, the bear went away. He walked quickly and disappeared into the forest. Both the boys go a sigh of relief.

उसने अपनी जेब से एक भूरे रंग का बैग निकाला। उसमें मिठाइयां थीं। आतिफ ने मिठाई को घास पर गिरा दिया और बैग में हवा भर दी। जल्द ही बैग एक बड़े गुब्बारे की तरह था। उसने जोर से शोर करते हुए अपने हाथ से उसे जोर से मारा। आवाज सुनकर भालू वहां से चला गया। वह तेजी से चला और जंगल में गायब हो गया। दोनों लड़कों ने राहत की सांस ली।
